This is a family room ocean view on the aft. When I look at balcony size it says 42 sq ft.....I thought I remembered these aft rooms having large balcony's on my last cruise. When we would have drinks at the aft open air bar, we would look down over several levels of rooms that appeared to have large balconys. What type of rooms were these?

 

Do all family ocean view rooms have 42 sq ft balconys or does that vary by location of the room?

You probably sailed on a ship like Summit, Millenium etc., (M-class) which have the larger family aft balconies.

On Century the aft balconies were added last year and look all the same size. Non sticked out, had I think less privacy then on the other ships.

Cabins on Sportsdeck overlook a large white "sail" over the Sunsetbar and donot have direct seaview.
