Need some help with deck plans on Crown

After really searching through the deck plans for the Crown ( leaving in less than 3 weeks:D ) I found a couple of places that I'm not quite sure what they are. Maybe some of you Crown Cruisers could fill me in.

1. It looks like you can reach Muts from both the Sky Deck and Sun Deck,

True/False

2. Sports Deck...what the heck is Fun Zone, Off Limits, and Chill Out

areas all about?

3. Lido Deck...Is Trident Grill where you get all this great pizza I've read

about? What about Mermaid's Tail?

4. Promenade Deck and Fiesta Deck....can you enter the Princess

Theatre from either deck?

5. And last but not least..Which dining room has traditional dining?

As you can see my brain is already onboard, but still have 19 days to go:D

thanks so much,

Crissy

We are leaving mid August, and I would like to add another question to the OP's list.....(by the way, fun zone, etc , are the kids clubs, which are on the sports deck).

We are on the Plaza deck, in the bowels of the ship, all the way in the front. Those kids clubs look like they are all the way in the rear of the ship, and about 11 flights above us! What is the most direct route to get there from our cabin? We anticipate having to go there multiple times each day to deliver/retreive our kids, and I have heard the elevators can get really backed up. Is there a best elevator to take, and also what is the most direct route for stairs?

Thanks.

You can actually view the MUTS from several decks - Lido, Sun and Sport, I think - and there are stairs that go from one deck to another.

Those are the areas for children and teens only.

Can't help you there.

4. Promenade Deck and Fiesta Deck....can you enter the Princess

Theatre from either deck?

Not sure about that either.

5. And last but not least..Which dining room has traditional dining?

The Botticelli Dining Room is for traditional dining.

Haven't been on the Crown but on other grand class Princess ships, the Trident Grill is outside near the buffet and usually where you get the burgers, brats, french fries. I don't like Princess pizza, but I think the pizza will be close by in a separate permanent cook station with the ovens for the pizzas.

The Mermaid's Tail is a bar overlooking one of the pools.

The Trident Grill serves burgers, hot dogs and fries. The Pizza and Ice Cream Bar is where you'll get the pizza. It's diagonally across the pool from the Trident Grill.

4. Deck and Fiesta Deck....can you enter the Princess Theatre from either deck?

Yes. The entrance to the theater on Deck 6, Fiesta, opens quite close to the stage; the entrance on Deck 7, Promenade, is at the rear of the theater.

You need to get to the aft elevators. You can do it on deck 7, but it won't be a straight shot.

I'd recommend taking the forward elevator up to decks 8 through 14; the halls are straight and you shouldn't encounter much traffic at all.
