travel between sitka and skagway?

Does anyone know if this is possible, i'd like to do the white pass railroad but our boat does not stop in skagway. are there private planes that would fly between these spots affordably?

I'm sure you could find a charter but it would be very very expensive and as unpredictable weather can be part of cruising Alaska, a rather risky proposition in any event (weather, timing, etc.) Sitka's a charming town, one missed on way too many itineraries IMHO, but due in part to the fact that ships do tender.
