Barcelona to Lisbon, November, 2008

I am finally booked on my first cruise with Oceania, November 14, 2008.

 

Has anyone else taken this cruise?

We took an Oceania Barcelona to Lisbon cruise in November, 2005. I don't know if the ports are the same.

We are going from Lisbon to Rome; Naples; Palermo, Sicily; LaGoulette,Tunisia; Tangier, Morocco; Cadiz and Lisbon.

 

What is the weather like in November and what is there to see at these ports?

In November, we had rain only a couple of days. Most of the time we were comfortable in long pants and long sleeve shirts.

 

When starting to research ports, I get a couple of guide books from the library and Google the name of the city plus the word tourism--that usually gets me lots of information. The ports of call section of this website is also a good resource.

 

Everyone is so different in the way they like to "do" a port, that I am reluctant to make suggestions without knowing what appeals to you--beaches, shopping, nature, history, art, etc, etc.
