Are the umbrellas that are provided in the cabins or suites full-size (i.e., long) or are they the compact travel size and easy to carry in a backpack for shore excursions?

they are Full Size ... like golf umbrellas

We always bring our own Totes umbrella that is easy to put in a shoulderbag/backpack.

Ours on Summit in May were about 16 inches long when folded.
