gazuccio Posted June 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2007 I see that the Cigar Parlor was changed into 5 Staterooms (Category C) with the middle one bigger than the other two. Is there any advantage of taking these rooms over the port or starboard rooms? Has anyone stayed in them? Noise a factor? Etc....

Dreps Posted June 20, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2007 You might want to search for a recent thread on these cabins. There are definitely pros (larger balconies, nice bathrooms) and cons (less breeze, less privacy).
Dolebludger Posted June 21, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 21, 2007 Do you mean the former lounge area on deck 7? If so, we were on the PG not long before the conversion. And, we noticed something we had not noticed on two previous cruises on her. This area of deck 7 vibrated like the dickens! Perhaps structure was added in the conversion of this area to staterooms that solves this problem. Perhaps not. I hope some previous PG guests who have actually stayed in these new staterooms will comment on this.
