Ratcliffe Retires

Cruise News Daily (www.cruisenewsdaily.com) reports today that Peter Ratcliffe, CEO of P & O Princess Cruises International will retire in March 2008. He has been overseeing Princess, P&O, Ocean Village, Cunard and P&O Australia. Alan Buckelew will be promoted to the position of CEO of Princess Cruises. The other cruise lines will be headed by another person.

 

Buckelew has been in the cruise business for about 30 years and started his career with Sitmar before it was acquired by Princess.
