Bread Sticks

For us, as for most Seabourn travelers, one of the favorite memories was the fantastic breadsticks. We received a copy of the recipe upon departure, but have not tried them yet. Any tricks or alerts that we should be aware of (especially since we don't have a pasta maker!)?

As the Seabourn Ex. Chef's have demostrated the art of making breadsticks, does not require a pasta machine. Simply make the easy dough, roll it out and cut the desired strip's with a sharp knife~~it looks fairly easy but I haven't made them.

These treats are made daily on the yacht's!:p

I agree that the breadsticks are terrific. I got a cheap hand-crank pasta machine and they come out great. You can hand roll the, but it is a real pain. You can get a hand crank pasta machine for $15-20 - well worth it. My dinner guests are so impressed.
