Peachy~Girl Posted June 26, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2007 Do they charge for virgin frozen drinks. We dont drink much but i love frozen daiquiris and fruity drinks. Do u have to pay for those even if they dont have liquor in them?
discjoker Posted June 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2007 Yes, they will cost money even if they don't have liquor in them.
Rare Keith1010 Posted June 26, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2007 That's correct. On those cruise lines that charge for drinks, they will charge for this type as well. Keith
Sandi149 Posted June 26, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2007 I think they cost about $1.00 less then the ones with the alcohol.
JerseyGem Posted June 26, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 26, 2007 In addition to paying for the drink, a 15% tip will be automatically added to each order. Each day, there will be the "drink of the day" at-usually- a slight discount. Most cruiselines have a non-alcoholic "drink of the day" also. Just be careful to tell the waiter that you want it in a regular glass, not the fancy ship's glass- that you pay extra for, but you get to keep. (Unless, of course, you do want a set of those plastic glasses.) One cruiseline (Princess?) has a smoothie card- that is, you pay in advance for a set number of smoothies at a reduced price. Hopefully someone else knows more about that program.
Shelledpea Posted June 27, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 27, 2007 Costa run a similar thing you get a book of vouchers to use ~ it called the kids soda package you pay the equivalent of 10 mid priced drinks but receive 15 vouchers to use on any non alchoholic drinks so you can save nearly half your money if you drink frozen virgin cocktails. As Costa do it I presume Carnival will have something similar have fun Shelley
