Not sure whether to deal directly with Globus, or contact a travel agent. I don't want to have to deal with anything (air, extra hotel nights, etc.) but I need to be certain that if anything goes wrong I will have someone reliable to contact. The only travel agent in my town that Globus deals with is rather hard to reach by phone (even on regular week days), so I wondered if any of you had dealt directly with Globus, and if so, were they responsive when (or if) problems arose?? We did not get a discount by using a AAA travel agent and also Uniworld would not discuss our itinerary directly with us. I booked through affordable but have also talked to Avalon over the phone several times in the last few months.They were always polite and answered my questions promptly.
