Excursion to St. Barths from St. Maarten

We will be on St. Maarten in October, 2007 on Caribbean Princess. Princess offers an excursion called "St. Barths on your own", which takes you by water taxi to Gustavia, St. Barths to explore on your own. The tour lasts 7 hours. Has anyone taken this tour? If yes, did you enjoy it?
