wristband Posted June 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2007 We arrive Tahiti 5 am on the day of departure in Feb. What time can we reasonably expect to be allowed on board? Our TA believes 1 PM - is it earlier? If 1 PM, we will get a hotel room. Any recs on a day room in Tahiti [not ICH] to while away a few hours and jet lag after the flight? Thanks so much for your advice!
Meribeth Posted June 29, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2007 You will be able to board around 11 am but they don't let you into your cabin until around 1:00. Also remember that there will still be passengers from the last cruise on the ship. The buffet and the pool area will be full of people.
Aussie Gal Posted July 1, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2007 We have just returned home from our cruise on the T.P. - Tahiti to Hawaii. The boarding time is 11.30am. Not a minute before. A group of us arrived at 10.30am as we wanted to board before the buses came with all the Princess people from the I.C. We had to wait until 11.30am before the process started. There is no shade to wait under and if it were raining you will get wet. Our luggage was taken immediately from us the moment we arrived but nothing else happened until the magic hour. The whole process once started took about 5 minutes at the most and then we were on the ship. We had lunch and at 1pm precisely, we were all able to go to our cabins. Don't forget to go over to the Marche once you are settled in and get a lovely flower arrangement for your cabin. Jennie
