costa maya excursions

I will be on Carnival Legend on July 29th. Has anyone used http://www.thenativechoice.com

to book an excursion to visit the Mayan Ruins in Costa Maya. I am looking for

some feedback.

We did the same itinerary you are doing on the Miracle last year. David and Ivan from Native Choice are fantastic. Keep looking here for their names and you will see tons of great reviews. Ivan was our guide for the day. We had a group of about 10 people compared to the hundreds on the ship tour. Ivan was born at the ruins site and is very knowledgeable about Mayan culture and history. I would take their tour again anytime. This was also the tour I was least worried about making it back in time from - the tour left one hour after we docked and we were back 4 hours later as promised with our choice of being dropped off at the ship or in Mahajual to shop or have lunch.

I have checked out their web site,a nd we are very much interested in this. I do see there are several options for different ruins. Is one better than the other??
