Maui Tropical Plantation

Has anyone taken the tour of the plantation from the pier. I know that they have an excursion from the ship(Princess) and I called the plantation to see if they had a shuttle to their facility but do not. She mentioned that somebody may have a tour off of the pier. Has anyone done that.

We have been there, but by rental car. Very nice place with beautiful flowers and trees. Mostly around a lake. Also a big shop for souvenirs.

In the gardens we walked around for free (and donot take a tour).

We did this in combination with a drive to Iao needle.

I cannot tell you about tours from the pier.

I did the Maui Tropical Plantation in 2002 along with the Maui Ocean Center. I would reccommend the Ocean Center ahead of the plantation. More to see, more to do and more interesting, imo.
