SideWinder_VA Posted August 17, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2004 This was my experience 8/8. I arrived at the pier at 12:15, Dropped off the luggage at the ship went to the long term lot and then the shuttle to customs at 12:30. They started boarding that particular day at 1:00. By 1:30 we were onboard. We waited on the pool deck and by then there was a line of card dropping off their luggage. This all cleared up by 3:00. Folks were able to drive right up to drop off their luggage with no wait. Not sure if it was crowded at customs, but most people seemed to breeze through when we were there. wesleyjr Posted August 17, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted August 17, 2004 We have a short drive. Trying to decide whether to arrive at 12:30 or 3:00.
Rare mskaufman Posted August 17, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 17, 2004 I would try the earlier time. We live in Columbia and got there around noon and were on the boat by 1:00. If you shoot for 3:00 and there is an unexpected traffic tie up, you will increase your stress level.

kenmel Posted August 18, 2004 #7 Share Posted August 18, 2004 Is anybody else flying in to Baltimore? If so, did you purchase a transfer from RCI (how much?) or are you planning on taking a taxi/private car?
