Oslo Dutch Posted July 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2007 Today I have booked a cruise on the Century sailing the Western Med and to Morrocco. Needless to say I really look forward to it, just a couple of questions. There will be ports where we will not do big tours and stay around the ship. On previous occasions with RCL and HAL they now close the dining room for lunch while in port (To put it mildly,we were not amused. I just don't like these buffets. It's simply another way for the cruiseline to cut costs). While with Cunard the dining room is allways open for lunch. What is Celebrity's policy right now? What is the general mix of nationalities in the Med and what is the avarage age age range? Thing not to miss and things to do on the Century? Look forward to hear from you. Karynanne Posted July 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2007 Celebrity does, on occasion, close the diningroom at lunch, while in port. This gives the staff an opportunity for some time off. They work extremely hard, and provide excellent service for all of us. Karyn
