msk68 Posted July 8, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 8, 2007 I've done it before at tea and such. Never had a question or a funny look. Of course we didn't advertise that we all weren't from the Grills. Just came in, sat down and ordered.
Rare 3rdGenCunarder Posted July 8, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 8, 2007 Our very first time on QE2 was steerage (inside U/L on 5) for a TA. We sailed at night, and I remember saying that we really needed to have champagne for sailing. So my husband found the nearest bar on boat deck to get us glasses of champagne. He came back saying that bartender made him swear he'd bring the glasses back and not just leave them on a table somewhere on deck. I looked at the crystal flutes and thought, Wow, QE2 really is posh. Next day, we discovered that the nearby bar was the Queens Grill Lounge. (And yes, my husband had returned the glasses to that same bartender who had taken pity on a newbie.) Kathy
