Idle time at nite!

Ok...I was sitting recalling the first and only cruise that I have been on and how to get the most out of my time. I am 29 and I am very active and like to be around people and enjoy making new friends! When the nite falls and most people are relaxing and turning in for the nite, Im just gettn ready to start Livin It Up! What are some things that fellow cruisers do to have a good time? I look at it this way, I can sit in my room at watch TV at home!!!! Ya know??????

Go the the disco and dance! Go to the casino! Go to the piano bar! Go to the Martini bar (yum) Most times we are so tired from the day, we can't stay up late! :D

It depends on the mood of the cruise. We were on the Grand Princess and found everything pretty mild. The best music was the piano bar and one cowboy playing a guitar. Most of the time I stay in a lounge listening to the bands, but not on that one. They did have a good talent contest though and I ate alot on that trip.;)

 

Our last trip on the Elation was so action packed that I had to go back to work to rest. Their band (Blood Power) was one of the best rock bands that I have heard. When they played, I was there. Then there are the production shows and the comedians. We don't miss them.

 

One thing you need to check on is the last night at sea. The ship dancers usually have the night off and party in one of the lounges. I've hit 2 of those parties and they are a riot. Some of the best dancing that you will see.

 

Oh, I almost forgot. I eat about 5 meals a day and maybe a couple of snacks in my spare time.

Their band (Blood Power) was one of the best rock bands that I have heard. When they played, I was there.

 

If you are ever lucky enough to be on a ship with Blood Power there is no doubt where you will be every night. :p They played on my Legend cruise last October and I felt like a groupie following them from venue to venue :D

I wonder if they have a Martini Bar on Carnival Ectsacy? Was not aware of one....I will have to check that out then! Did not even know if they had live music entertainment on the ship....Guess I was too caught up in tryin to find something to do! and I bet the parties with the staff would be a Blast since they house themselves there and probably really know how to let loose and have a good time...Thanks Guys!!!!

After 2 drinks, it doesn't have to be a martini.

 

No drinkum firewater. 2 drinks and I do a wardance, 3 and I do a fertility dance. I don't remember what happens after that, but Miss Ginger said that it is not a pretty sight.:o

You will have lots of choices.

 

There will probably be a disco, a piano bar, a sports bar & a nighclub/show. Any of them should have something going on. Plus as was pointed out, there's always the casino.

No question for us: we will ALWAYS be at karaoke! :D Stop in some time. There can be some very talented, entertaining people there.
