When is formal night on a 9 day cruise?

Hi,

Was just wondering if anyone knew when the first formal was on a 9 day cruise? Is it the first day at sea? I also figured the second would also be a sea day. Thanks!!!

It's usually the first sea day and one of the last sea days, so without knowing what ship or itinerary you're on, there's no way to tell you.

Our 9 night cruise leaves on a Friday. The next night (the first sea day) is the Captain's Welcome Reception and first formal night. The following Friday is the 2nd formal dinner, which is when the one the lobster is served. Hope that helps. It all depends though, as the previous poster stated, on which ship.

Herb is right.........usually the first sea day and then the next to last sea day before debarkation........

It's the Explorer 9 day to the Caribbean. Thanks for the info. Those are the days I thought the formals would be.
