Transportation from port to Nice, Naples, Santorini, etc

Recommended Posts

What are the options if one does not want to do formal tours , but would like to venture on our own once in port. We would like to know if Royal Caribbean offers shuttles for a fee to the near by towns or cities from port.:o

Gem Girl,

You might want to check out the ports of call section of these boards to read about your ports. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=234

You might also want to ask on the Royal Caribbean board to get specifics about what RCL does at the ports you mentioned. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=83

I've always found plenty of information on the Ports of Call boards.

Those are all tender ports, and you are taken right to the center of the city off the tenders. In Santorini, you either have to take the funicular up to the town, ride a donkey or walk the 600+ steps. But once you're up there, you're in the middle of town.
