Cash for tips?

How much cash should we exect to pay for tips on a 10 nite cruise? Thanks

This does vary depending on the cruise line and your personal preferences, but as a rule the recommened amounts range from $10 - $12 per person per day. Many cruise lines now automatically add the tip to your on-board account and than tell you that you can go to the pursers desk if you want to adjust the amount. Celebrity Cruise line is a little different because they ask you to sign a statement if you want the tips added to your account.

As many of the cruise lines have, Celebrity has a list of recommend tips so that will help you. You can also charge your tips to the shipboard account on the ship which many passengers do so you won't have to worry about having lots of cash for tips.
