Haiti Questions

Recommended Posts

First time sailing on RCI in several years. One of the ports is Haiti, and I read that it is RCI's private island. Can anyone describe what is there? Is it a beach...marketplace...??? Also, does the Liberty have anytime dining, as Princess has or only early/late seating? Thanks for your help.

It is their private island labedee. There is a beach, a craft market, the area is manned with crew workers from RC that serve you. They have a buffet set up on the island, to eat (at no cost) drinks are purchased with your sea pass card. There are water sports for a fee. There are lounge chairs by the beach at no cost. The island is not very big. No the Liberty does not have anytime dining. Just early and late seating.

Labadee is really nice.

I think it is big enough, you can lounge around, do water sports, hike, go to their tiny market, have the bbq and just relax.

Take your water shoes because the beach is rocky in places but it is so nice, you'll love it.:)

Thanks for all the info and pictures. Sounds wonderful, as we enjoy both the beach and marketplace. Plus, helping their economy is always a plus. We look forward to experiencing Labedee.
