Help With Balcony Cabin

Recommended Posts

Hi there.. congrats on your upcoming wedding!

Most folks here will agree that a hump or aft balcony would be their first choice when selecting a balcony cabin. Those are the only balcony cabins I tend to look for when booking.

Have a great cruise!

Is the aft near the front or the rear of the ship? Still learning ship terms.

Aft is the rear - Bow is the front

Port is the left side - Starboard is the right (when facing the front or bow of the ship)

I remember those because left and port have the same number of letters.

The hump cabins are those that stick out some on the sides.

Thanks for your help everyone! I spoke with our travel agent and for the E1 category they only have the front cabins left. :(

The LOS has E-2 "humps" I just booked and they can be cheaper than an E-1 oddly enough. Check with your TA about the "humps" on decks 6, 7, or 8.
