FireSparkles is right. Inless you have a large group and all you want is to get to Megans Bay and back there are lots of open air taxis, vans hounding you all day long to go somewhere.:) :D :D :)

When you get off the ships, there are all these taxis to take you to Magens Bay Beach. The drivers will even ask you want time you want them to pick you up. Some taxis are airconditioned and some are open vans. Some airconditioned vans too. It's a waste of money to take a tour of Magens Bay. They give you about 30 minutes or an hour at the beach and that's it. Magens has water sports, a restaurant, bathrooms, chairs and umbrellas to rent, etc. It's quite beautiful!

Carol,

What kind of water sports, and how long of a taxi ride? Do you remember the cost?

I believe there's a web site you can get to called St.Thomas beaches.com if that doesn't work, try St.Thomas.com and then go to beaches. All the info should be there.
