What You Might Not Know About NCL and Kid's Club

Here's a little bit of information about NCL and their kid's club. I know many of you don't have a problem leaving your kids on board the ship when in port. But on NCL, if your child is still in diapers (NCL will allow diapered kids in their clubs), one parent must remain on board at all times in order to respond to the diaper changing beeper. I just got this information while reading the special cruising pull out section of the newest Conde Nast Traveler Magazine.

I'd heard that Disney Cruise Line changes diapers, too.

Well sort of. They do not accept non-potty trained children into their kid's club (the one starting at 3 and up) whereas Carnival and NCL does.

They DO have a nursery for kids under 3 and they do give you a pager if you are "needed". But I never used it when we went on Magic because the nursery looked a little boring to me.

So they very well could change diapers in the nursery, we never used that.
