bajathree Posted July 20, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2007 We have changed our rooms for our upcoming SOS cruise next week and was wondering what way is best to handle luggage tags. I was told by RC that I had a few options.... 1-I could cross out the room and write a new room in. (sound a bit messy) 2-Get new tags at the dock. (how easy is that?) 3-Print out my own (not sure how one does that) Could someone who has done this suggest what is best.
vickiw0318 Posted July 20, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2007 When I booked a cruise late, I only had electronic papers - no luggage tags. Everyone here on CC told me that it would be very easy to get them at the dock and they were correct.
Sue L Posted July 20, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2007 Just tell the porter that you changed rooms and he will supply the tags. You might want to bring a black magic marker with you so the numbers so up well.
frudutx Posted July 20, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 20, 2007 We've printed our own docs the last couple of cruises so we haven't received luggage tags. We just show the porter at the dock the printed sheets from the edoc and he writes up our luggage tags for us, so far so good! d
jules815 Posted July 20, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2007 We changed rooms after we received our luggage tags on our last cruise. I crossed out the room number and wrote the new one in with a sharpie. The porter still had to do something to them though (I don't remember if he did a new one or wrote more on my original tag) because in addition to the room number, there's another letter (maybe for the zone) that identifies the cabin. Talk to the porter, they do this all the time. Enjoy your cruise!!
