miami cab/shuttle

Could anyone please help us as to what the taxi/shuttle fare is from Port Miami to the Airport. Carnival offers a transfer, but I was wondering about convenience and affordablilty since there are 4 of us. Thanks

I know from the airport to the port of miami is a flat $24 fare. Not sure what it is from the port back to the airport.

Here is a portion of email I recived from Quality Limo Service with contact infor, or do a search under the company name. I searched awhile and this was the least expensive. We did not consider a rental car, too much of a hassle.

"The rate for the transportation service from FLL Airport to the Port of Miami is $24 dollars per person for a shuttle ride. Same rate for the return service.

Rate includes everything except for the gratuity to the driver".

Take a cab. You'll save a ton of money, as the cab is a flat rate for all of you ($24) as compared to a per person rate for shuttles.

I dunno about that Supper Shuttle fare or previous poster ... not what I've paid or what is on the web sites....

 

Despite the typical American's loathing of taxi's the least expensive way to go in this case is a taxi. it is $24 per cab, flat rate, between port and airport, either direction. You CAN request a 'van' taxi, but it will be a MiniVan - the small one, not a Grand Caravan, u need to decide if you can fit 4 plus luggage. On the other hand, two taxi's, plus tips, versus the cruiseline transfer????? I KNOW who wins.

 

Shuttles are a rip off as soon as you have more than 1 person....took me a LOT or traveling b4 I learned that...
