fishing out of Ketchikan

It's getting a bit late, but the coho might still be around. The coho there are outstanding fish, both in color of the meat and size. 17 pounders are not uncommon. And they're a great fightining fish. We've only fished them a ways away from town. We much prefer the coho over kings any day.

We went with Ken at Northern Lights. He handled getting all of the fish processed for us and it arrived home about a week after we did. My husband chose to have all of the salmon smoked. Ken made it very easy and painless so the fishers could return to the cruise ship. The processing was not bad but the shipping was around $65. I think the 20 plus pounds of smoked salmon (individually sealed bags) was around $200 processing, shipping and all.
