rice5899 Posted July 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2007 Is formal night usually the fun day at sea, even if the next morning the cruise is over?
Travelitis Posted July 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2007 Our experience has been that on 7 day cruises, the last night of the cruise is not formal.
Rare Keith1010 Posted July 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 22, 2007 While the formal nights are usually at sea they do not do a formal night the evening before you disembark on all ships I have ever been on. The last night is usually casual since they know that you have to get your packing done before dinner with possibly a little left over packing when you get back to your room from dinner. rice5899 Posted July 22, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted July 22, 2007 that is what I thouht, but we are only going on a 4 days cruise and the last day before we disembark is the only fun day at sea
crusinmama06 Posted July 22, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 22, 2007 Formal night does not have to be the "day at sea"...it might be a day when you are only at port till 4pm. Usually it's the second day on the ship for the 4 day cruises. When we are on Carnival and they dock at some place like Freeport on the 2nd day...then the ship leaves Freeport by 4pm...Formal night is THAT night.
