Jimpeyton Posted July 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2007 Taking my folks on a British Isle cruise and want everything to be perfect. Besides water, soda, liquor is there anything else that I can request that might add to the experience? They have a penthouse w/ Butler so I'm not sure what kind of snacks, etc are available. I read something about canapes? Are there any other options besides canapes and fruit? This is my first regent cruise, so I appreciate any insight you can add. Thank you
Pam Posted July 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2007 The butler will bring in canapes every afternoon; you will have a menu of choices. There is also a room service menu in your suite for more choices.

dougburns Posted July 22, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 22, 2007 If you're on the 1 Sep Voyager British Isles cruise we'll see you there. You can get just about anything you want; just call room service. The butler will deliver it, whereas those of us in the cheap seats get it delivered by room service. It generally doesn't take longer than 15 minutes or so from the time you call. You used to be able to get caviar any time you wanted it, but now it's only if it's on the menu unless you want to pay for it. Don't recommend that. Portolan Posted July 22, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 22, 2007 The refrigerator usually comes stocked with a couple of cans of Bud and Heineken. I've always gotten rid of the Bud in favor of the Heineken and then discovered that they have the special "draft" cans of Guiness on board. Since you are going to the British Isles, this would seem obvious. Nuts are also a good thing to have on hand.
