NCL Weekend Cruises from NYC?

I was referred here from the "Ask a Cruise Question" forum.

 

Does anyone here have information on short cruises from New York City, overnight or weekend cruises. If you have experience with them, how were they?

If you go to ncl.com and choose "weekend cruises" at the bottom of the drop down menu headed "where do want to go" - you can find a whole bunch of them. Lots out of NYC in Sept & Oct, some from Seattle - Vancouver and one on the Gem out of Boston.

I think they're a great way to get out just for a night or two.

I did the 2 one night cruises on the Dawn in May and had a blast. The Dailies are in my webshots link under my signature.

 

I'm also booked on 2 on the Spirit in October and another one night on the Dawn in September:D

We've also done several of them and enjoyed them very much. More energy than a longer cruise but that is to be expected on a one nighter out of NYC. We're doing the Sept 1 on the Dawn and we're bring 3 family members with us which will probably shake up the whole ship. The casino is really active on these cruises. Great way to spend a night.
