Avalon 2008

I just received my Avalon 08 book, and was surprised to see everyone's favorite CD, Hans, featured not once but twice in pictures. I guess Avalon never got the message. Also noticed that their cabin upgrades have gone way up in price on their older ships like the Poetry.

Our CD,Isabel, on The Tranquility told me that the new France cruise from Paris to Nice is almost fully booked for 2008!!!!!:eek:

Just came back from Avalon Poetry with Hans as the cruise director. I must admit I was a little nervous after reading several of the postings. Actually, Hans was very friendly, helpful and informative. He was always available to help the passengers out especially those whose luggage was lost. I am also quite sure everyone on the tour felt the same way as I did. They all seemed to like him a great deal. I am sorry he is getting a bum rap.

On our recent cruise on the Avalon Tranquility our CD,Isabel was asked why she never smiled and she replied "because I am German" Sometimes because a culture is different then ours we misinterpret it.:D
