Tables for two on AOS

From what I understand there are very few tables for two, correct?? Is the best way to get these tables by seeing the Maitre'd the day you board?? Thanks

Yes, the very first day. We have gotten a table for 2 each time we requested it, which has been 3 times. Our last cruise we opted for table mates which was a very enjoyable experience.

We had a table for two just by requesting it in Jan 06.

It was wonderful. We got invited to the captain's table on the first formal night--probably to round out a wedding party of 6. Had a great time!!!!!
