Help with snorkeling site please

We will be making our way over the big pond in January to join the Brilliance of the Sea....Most of my excursions are sorted but we are undecided about Grand Cayman. We have been before and snorkeled at Eden Rock. We have also done the stingrays. This time we want to try somewhere different to snorkel. Reading most of your comments I am leaning towards Cemetery Beach. However it would seem that taxi's are very expensive ? Does any one know how much it costs from the ship and how long it takes to get there? Also will it be easy to get back? Or is it cheaper to hire a car for the day? Must be truthful don't really want to worry the whole time I'm there that the taxi driver will come back for us !!. Ideally we want a nice site that is easy to enter from the beach, good snorkeling and a little bit of civilization around. If any one knows Trunk Bay in St John...that is our ideal. Would be very grateful if anyone can point us in the right direction.

We will be booking a car through www.grandcaymancruiseexcursions.com. We plan to see hell, the turtle farm, cemetary beach and maybe 7 mile. We had a car last time and went to rum point. It only cost $45.

p.s. when are your going? We'll be going 1/14/05...are you on our sailing?
