afcj1 Posted August 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2007 Our cruise leaves at 11:00 PM from San Juan...Does that mean that the muster drill is after the ship departs? Also, once you've checked in, do you need to stay onboard. Thanks.
Coolmama_1 Posted August 2, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2007 I think we had muster around 7:30 or so.
kendon Posted August 2, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2007 Find out what time your muster drill and make dinner arrangements accordingly. We were in the middle of dinner in the dining room, and everyone had to get up and leave at the same time.

I do think we were in the dining room about to be served our love boat dream!:) . We left and came back and had our treat!

cynbar Posted August 2, 2007 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2007 Once you've checked in, there is no problem getting off the ship for sightseeing or whatever. You'll just swipe your cruise card, and there is a separate line when you return from passengers embarking. We did just that when we sailed the Golden a couple years ago, had a lovely afternoon in Old San Juan.
Rare flarad Posted August 2, 2007 #7 Share Posted August 2, 2007 Muster drill is at 8pm. We had an early dinner in anytime dining and had no problem making it. You may leave the ship after you check in and many people do. We chose to stay on board and enjoy the ship since the cruise is so port intensive and there wasn't a lot of time for this in the cruise. Enjoy your cruise. Wish it was me again:o
