Hawaiian Mongoose Posted August 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2007 It's a bit early for us to worry about details, but what Pier does the Pride of Aloha use? When we were there last year, NCL/NCLA still used Pier 10/11. The Port of Honolulu says: Note: NCL vessels to berth at Pier 11 until 2/28/07. If no pier is indicated next to the dates above, Pier 2 is the assigned pier. Anyone that has been there recently have the Pier number NCL used/uses? I know that Pier 2 is a short distance up Nimitz Hwy/Ala Moana Blvd from Pier 10/11. Thanks in advance.

Don Haynes Posted August 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2007 Honolulu invested in a new larger cruise terminal at Pier Two. It relieved the pressure of the older smaller cruise terminal at Pier Ten and Eleven. I think it makes sense to use the larger newer terminal, don't you? Hawaiian Mongoose Posted August 2, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted August 2, 2007 I've been past there numerous times, so I'm sure it makes sense. Does it have the charm that Pier 10/11 had of being near the Aloha Tower?
odblnt Posted August 2, 2007 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2007 Not quite as charming as being right next to Aloha Tower, but it is right across Ala Moana Blvd from Restaurant Row and CompUSA (and, frankly, the other terminal was showing its age). ;) Pete
