Garden Tours

HI all; will be in KW oct 19 for 6 days; I would really like to take some sort of a garden tour. Does anyone know of such a thing? Also, want to see some sort of botanical garden, and maybe a really nice garden center. Any ideas?

Key West does have a Botanical Garden on Stock Island near the golf course. It is actually called the Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden.

Th eonly garden tours I have heard of are the ones sponsored by a garden club and done on a once a year basis, but maybe someone knows better than I do about that.

and you have to see this to believe it. It's hidden at the end of Schoolhouse Lane so if you need directions...

 

Another is the Key West Garden Club which is headquartered in the West Martello Tower on the south side at Higgs Beach but within walking distance, and worth the walk...

And if you just want to see some beautiful flowers, walk onto the Pier House grounds and around the pool area and over towards the spa building. There is a small guard house on Duval where Viktor sits. Tell him you just want to view the grounds. e.g.,
