Jr. Suites on Mariner

Does anyone know if the Jr. Suites on the Mariner have a refrigerator? I like to keep my wine handy!

 

Also, being my first RCI cruise (I've done Princess, Carnival, and Norweigan), how is the food?

All cabins on the Mariner have a small fridge. Does an okay job at keeping things chilled.

 

Food is subjective. I have no problems with the food but then all cruise food tastes the same to me.:)

Don't count on bringing wine onboard unless you are willing to pay a steep corkage fee.

Nope, can't bring wine or any alcohol on board. Period.

 

You can, though, purchase a bottle to drink at dinner and bring it back to your cabin with you :)

There isn't any corkage fee because you are no longer able to bring your own wine onboard. You can order before hand on the RCI website, or you can order from places like A Perfect Gift in Port Canaveral or JBOY.

You aren't allowed to bring it onboard with Princess or Carnival, either. But I did and was not caught. Do they check closer on RCI?

Q: Can I bring liquor (from home or from a port) onboard?

 

A: Guests are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages onboard for consumption or any other use. Alcoholic beverages that are purchased in ports-of-call or from Shops On Board will be stored by the ship and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of the sailing.

 

Security may inspect containers (water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, luggage etc.) and will dispose of containers holding alcohol. Guests who violate any alcohol policies, (over consume, provide alcohol to people under age 21, demonstrate irresponsible behavior, or attempt to conceal alcoholic items at security and or luggage check points or any other time), may be disembarked or not allowed to board, at their own expense, in accordance with our Guest Conduct Policy. Guests under the age of 21 will not have alcohol returned to them
