Rain Pants?

We are leaving next week and both have very nice gore tex parkas. Do we need some rain pants as well?

It all depends on how wet you want to be!:D I would take them just in case. The parkas don't cover your legs. I took rain pants along for our cruise 2 weeks ago and luckily I didn't need them. Better safe than sorry.

We have been to Alaska several times from June to the middle of September. Never wore rain pants - don't own any. And on each cruise we did have a day or two of heavy rains - bottom of slacks got a little damp - just hung them up to dry - they were ready the next day.
