Hi, we have the same problem--30 of us on the 8/19 trip. We're planning to visit the Maitre'd right away with a little "offering" to see if we can arrange tables together. This is my one gripe about Princess, we all booked together but we did not all get the Traditional late dining as requested--this was back in January. We've called Princess, and our TA and nobody can help us with this. Hopefully, as others have said on this site, a visit to the Maitre'D will solve our problem.

We had a group of 11 dining anytime on the Sapphire. There are one or two tables that i believe will seat 10 or 12 in each of the four anytime dining rooms, but they are very hard to get (on a 7 day cruise we had the large table twice). Most of the time we booked ahead with the Matre D and ended up with two 6-top tables next to each other. All bets are off for a group of 30. I'd call the dining room as soon as you get onboard and see what they can do for you. Hopefully they will take your reservations for the entire week.

Just got off the 8/1 sailing of the Crown.

Eight is one of the standard size tables in the two anytime dining rooms. If you don't have a reservation, you may have to wait awhile.

We had a group of 13 and had no trouble getting getting two tables next to each other. We had to wait about 30-45 minutes on both formal nights at about 7:00pm. They give you a pager so you can roam around while you are waiting.

With a group of 33, you may want to eat early or late so you can make a reservation. I wouldn't want to just walk up and expect to all be seated near each other anytime soon.

Hope your cruise is as magical as ours was...

We are a group of 11 cruising on the Grand in December. We all have anytime dining. We only plan to eat together on the 2 formal nights. Should we arrange this at the beginning of the cruise? And how much should the "offering" be. I have never had to do this and don't know how much is reasonable.

Thanks for the help.

Yes I would do it for the 2 nights as soon as you board cause those will be the busier nights.
