Which Pearl specialty restaurants are the hardest to get into?

I want to book the hardest restaurants to get reservations in when we first get on the ship. Thanks in advance for any responses.:)

On our 7/22-7/29 cruise, La Cucina and Teppanyaki were the most popular. Never could get res at La Cucina.

It seems on all NCL ships the Ter.... tables in the Asian restaurant are the hardest, and the free Italian resttaurant is very popular especially from New York.

I found Cagney's the hardest to get into and the Asian restaurants the easiest. There is no charge for the Itailian option, so it is quite popular.

Hands down without a doubt(sailed last week) it was the Italian one. Not worth it since you can get the same food outside in the buffett

We also cruised on July 22-29, and actually had no trouble getting reservations at any of the restaurants. We were always sure to plan ahead and reserve early, though.

 

Teppanyaki and Cagney's seemed to be big draws. I believe Teppanyaki only seats 36 at a time, and they booked people at 2-hour intervals.

Yeah, I know - that's why I want to make them for the hardest to get into first, thinking it might be easier down the line to get into the others.

Definitely Teppanyaki. We had no problem getting into any of the other restaurants.

Do the specialty restaurants charge the cover for kids? Even if they choose to order the same old grilled cheese or pizza off the kids menu?

if they order off the kid's menu, no charge. if they order an entree off the regular menu, they will be charge.

Gosh, I hate to, but I totally disagree! La Cucina was the best food we had all week! What we did is made a reservation for Formal night, since we arent big on that anyway. It was easy to get in to and you could still order the lobster. Some at our table ordered italian and lobster.

 

Agreed that LaCucina and Tepenyaki are the hardest to get in to. Mambos was excellent as well! We went there twice! Never had a problem getting into Cagneys. It was great steak and the apple pie dessert was fantastic!

A lot of people say La Cucina is the hardest to get into. We didn't have a problem and it was one of the best meals we had as well. Spaghetti Carbonara was so delish!
