Volunton Posted August 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2007 I'm in a 93** room (Category I) on the NCL Sun later this year. It says it's a deluxe room. What's the difference(s) between Deluxe and Superior in terms of size, etc. Thanks.
ute_fan Posted August 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2007 Go here: http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/Main/shipsncl.php and you can put in your cabin number and see exactly what size it is. I think the cat "I" are the largest inside cabins on the Sun. We peeked inside one, and it seemed quite roomy, but I'm not sure what the difference is between the superior and a deluxe. clerky96 Posted August 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2007 We were on the Sun last Feb/Mar, and had a category I deluxe inside stateroom on deck 10. It was actually quite a large cabin. You might want to check out this thread because I posted a couple of pix. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=609008
Volunton Posted August 17, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted August 17, 2007 I think our stateroom on the Jewel (inside cabin) was about 144 s.f. The I category one on the Sun will be 172 s.f. Not bad! Now if only I knew what superior vs. deluxe meant. :)
Patpcozy Posted August 17, 2007 #5 Share Posted August 17, 2007 We stayed in the superior cabin on the Sun, best cabin we've had so far including a mini suite on the Dawn. The superior is 190 sq ft and has a double sofabed instead of single. Go for it

I am trying to find the size of an inside cabin on the Pearl and the website in your post wants me to register for $11.99. Am I on the wrong site? ute_fan Posted August 20, 2007 #7 Share Posted August 20, 2007 Try this one: http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/. They run both a public site and a pay site, but I think the information about the cabin sizes is the same from both. From that link, it will give you the choise of going to cruisedeckplans (free) or cruisestaterooms (pay). I think the main difference is that the pay one also includes photos of several of the rooms.
