pinkaboo Posted August 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2007 Just wondering how far is timothy beach from where the cruise ships dock? Is Timothy Beach a nice sandy beach with warm calm waters? Are there restuarants and facilities there? Haven't seen any reviews on Timothy Beach. Are there any beaches that are close by the cruise ports. We would like to take a taxi to the beach. Does anyone know what the cost are for the beaches in St Kitts? We're just looking for a nice sandy beach with food and warm calm waters and umbrellas or palapas. Any suggestions? There is a hotel called Timothy Beach Resort which is located on South Frigate Bay. It is about a 15 minute drive from Port Zante. Visit http://www.skyviews.com/stkitts/stkittsmap.html Yes, South Frigate Bay is a nice sandy beach with calm water as it's located on the Caribbean. This is the closest beach to Port Zante. Here you will find lots of fun beach bars and restaurants. Two of my favourite beach bars are http://www.mrxshiggidyshack.com located next to Timothy Beach Resort and http://www.ziggysbeachbar.com a short walk down the beach. You can rent chairs and watersport equipment next door to Mr. X's. You should contact Thenford Grey http://***** regarding taxi rates. He is a very reliable, punctual and friendly taxi driver/guide.
