SeaBaby Posted August 20, 2007 #26 Share Posted August 20, 2007 We finally found luggage that is both durable and lightweight. It is Heyes, and is called the world's lightest luggage. It is hard-sided, made from a very light polycarbonate composite. It is flexible so that it 'gives' when thrown about at an airport or cruise terminal. murphyis1 Posted August 20, 2007 #27 Share Posted August 20, 2007 I love Briggs and Riley. Lifetime guarantee...repaired or replaced at no charge. DH travels extensively for work. Every piece still going strong after 10+ years. One broken zipper pull and one damaged wheel were replaced. Pricey, but watch for a sale.
cappy09 Posted August 20, 2007 #28 Share Posted August 20, 2007 My vote goes to Delsey Helium lite suiters... Have garment bag, 29" and 27" suiters and have taken them on 3 cruises +. They have held up more that I ever expected them to. Purchased from e-bags . Guaranteed replacement.
pediatric-rnp Posted August 20, 2007 #29 Share Posted August 20, 2007 Another Ricardo fan here. We just love them, and they hold up well. Our 2 sons use the JEEP wheeled duffles and they are amazingly strong. We bought the Ricardo pieces on sale at Filenes several years ago, and the JEEP duffles on sale at Kohls. polodad Posted August 21, 2007 #30 Share Posted August 21, 2007 For cruises I like rolling wardrobes for my tux & suit. Just purchased a Briggs & Riley and love it. Also have trifold Andiamo garment bag that I like alot for shorter trips.
