Taxi available at Pikes Market

We are going to have to take a taxi from our hotel to the Market. Are there taxicabs available around the market for our return? Thanks

There is the Inn at the Market that you could go in and call a taxi or hail one on 1st Avenue.

Depending on where your hotel is, the monorail is also available.

We had no problems at all getting a cab at Pike Street Market, as I recall there was an area where you stood in line waiting for the next cab. We were a large party and usually took at least 3 cabs each time, we pretty much arrived together back at the hotel.

Part of my advance planning for going to an area where we won't have a car is to look up online a taxi company and bring the number with us. Then with the cell phone, I always can reach a taxi company.
