manlie Posted August 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2007 We just booked a cabin on the Caribbean Princess on the Caribe deck. I wanted the larger balcony but am starting to wonder if the room will be much smaller than the mini (which we have had previously). It is only 2 of us but from looking at the photos there isn't a couch or a place to put your purchases, etc. (we seem to fill the couch and bar area with shopping bags, photos, sweaters, etc). Is it much smaller?
espo56 Posted August 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 21, 2007 I had the same issue. I wanted the larger, covered balcony, but also the larger room. After much research on this site and others, we decided to go with the mini suite on the Dolphin deck because of the larger space and most importantly much larger bathroom. All of the boards say that the bathrooms in the balcony suites are like 2 by 4s. I probably won't be on the balcony all that much anyway and would much rather have the larger mini suite. cherylandtk Posted August 21, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 21, 2007 The balcony rooms are smaller by about 70 sq. ft. The minis are about 255 sq ft and the balconies about 185 sq. ft. With that space comes the sofa, the tub, the seating area and the extra TV.
