zelker Posted August 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2007 Anyone ever ask their butler to expand the dining room table to seat 6 in a CS? Would be a nice option if we want to invite 2 couples for a meal. Thanks.

peteranddan Posted August 21, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 21, 2007 I'm trying to envision it in my head, but I don't think the table in the dining room was expandable. I don't believe there was anywhere to put a leaf in. The table would comfortably sit 4 and snugly fit 5 although there are 6 chairs in the suite. One is at the computer desk. Your butler, if willing, may be able to set up some type of buffet for you and your guests could serve themselves buffet style. There would be enough room to sit 12 in the suite. zelker Posted August 21, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted August 21, 2007 Many times hotels will have a large wood surface that they can sit over an non-expandable table and then put a table cloth over it and Voila! Didn't know if X could do something like that. But if not, your idea of a more informal service buffet style would work. Thanks for the idea. kitty9 Posted August 21, 2007 #5 Share Posted August 21, 2007 I asked about that and I cannot be done. Five might be OK, but you'll never fit six at that table. I asked about expanding the tabletop, and was told no because it's not stable enough and they don't want the liability.
