cruiseshipmodels Posted August 19, 2006 #101 Share Posted August 19, 2006 We have 12" model of Elation in case. It is much better than you can buy on the ship. Models sold on the ship can be hardly considered as models at all - they are often wrong in proportions and details. The price of our Elation is $249 delivered to US address. Please see picture below which shows Fantasy class cruise ship (to which Elation belongs) among others. You can email to sansim555@msn.com and I will replay with better pictures showing Elation as full hull model correctly proportioned and detailed, installed in case with acrylic cover and wooden base, with brass nameplate. Please visit our website: http://www.scherbakshipmodels.com for more information.

widerberg Posted September 9, 2006 #105 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Hello, All: This is my first post. Does anyone have an extra Carnival FASCINATION model (the onboard resin ones) they'd like to sell? I saw one on eBay, one day too late. The seller didn't have any more. I'd really like to find one. Also, and I doubt it even exists, has anyone seen a REGAL EMPRESS (ex OLYMPIA, CARIBE I) model? There was a paper build-it-yourself model of OLYMPIA, which I've bought, but I'm looking for resin, metal, or some other material. Many thanks in advance!! Please e-mail: widerberg@excite.com if you have one for sale.

Have you tried this yourself for the ship models? I have done a little research and made it all the way to the supplier to the cruise lines. They would not sell to anyone but the cruise lines. Have not been able to contact the manufacture. I would bet they have an exclusivity contract with the supplier that sells them to the cruise lines. Please post if you can get them to sell.. I have a model of every ship we've been on except the first one. Not sure they even were made/ offered back then for that cruise line and ship. I have never seen or heard of one under the Commodore Brand. Everyone I have is made by a company called "Holiday Int'l. Inc." in Sun Lakes, AZ. 85248, They also have a sticker "Made in China"

Sailing Jon Posted October 29, 2006 #112 Share Posted October 29, 2006 We started our model collection after sailing on these 2 ships and are looking for the ceramic models. The models we are looking for are about 10" in length and are only available in the gift shop onboard the ship, and you can only purchase the model of a particular ship when you are sailing on that ship. I am always looking on EBAY for these models but any help would be appreciated! jhellings@cox.net

modelman Posted November 10, 2006 #115 Share Posted November 10, 2006 I remember someone was looking for a model of teh Commodore Enchanted Seas or Enchanted Isle. Well I saw this model of the Bermuda Star on ebay, and as it is the same ship, thought it was worth posting. I am not sure if he has two available, it looks like he might, one with a broken mast. Anyway I have this model in my "Passport" collection and it is pretty nice. http://cgi.ebay.com/OCEAN-LINER-BERMUDA-STAR-PASSPORT-PRODUCTS_W0QQitemZ250048201624QQihZ015QQcategoryZ14053QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Holland Zuiderdam - porceline blue and white, made in Holland Norwegian Sun - porceline RCCL - Adventure, Radiance and Brilliance (Splendour in February) Crown Princess - the smalles, but nice and from inaguration Caribbean Princess (shipped to us) We've bought special glass door shelves with light. It looks nice. :) P.S. Wars on ebay are getting crazy. Recently (Enchantment?) was sold for almost $
