kgerkin Posted August 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2007 Our next cruise is a year away (unless I can sneak in another one between now and then) but I was wondering about hotel rates. Right now the Radisson is $219 a night for a King Suite and $189 for a two room suite. This includes the cruise parking. For those that have booked hotels in this area, do you find that the rates drop over time or are they about the same regardless of when you book. Did you book early, or did you wait? Just curious. TrolleyGirl Posted August 29, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2007 I watched the Radisson's rates for over 1 year this past year. They never went down.
psblin99 Posted August 29, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2007 For years the Radisson was the only choice for cruisers. now with 2 new properties close by it is not the case. I did get a room last dec for $90 at the radisson. They do change depending on bookings. You may want to check the I work in Port Canaveral thread and search Hotels for more info. GwenyP Posted August 29, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 29, 2007 Also, just so you know, don't pay extra for the rate that specifies cruise parking included. Free parking for the cruise is included whether you book that package or not.
suezyq50 Posted August 30, 2007 #5 Share Posted August 30, 2007 Rates can vary. I like to use visitflorida.com for good rates. I got a two bedroom sleep 6, with breakfast and parking for $179. at the Residence on that site.

Karen Hotels have low season and high season so you may see the rates vary depending on time of year. At the Radisson the rates can vary depending on availability similar to airline seats. The less full the hotel is, the better deal you might get. Internet rates always seem to be the best rates but you pay immediately and can't gaurentee a specific type of room.
