July 4th Denali Princess Lodge

Can someone tell me if there are any sort of July 4th celebrations (fireworks or anything) happening at Denali Princess Lodge on July 4th?

No there aren't any fireworks that I know of. In season, days are pretty much the same with overflowing visitors at the Denali Princess.

 

It doesn't get dark enough for fireworks overall.

And as it stands fireworks are outlawed! Funny you can go to Houston, Alaska about an hour from here and buy them but then the Public service announcements then remind you that personal use of fireworks are illegal in the Municipality of Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula as well at the Mat-Su Borough.

 

Heaven forbid if it's a dry summer too, fireworks and dryness don't go well at all.

 

Here in town and out on the lake in Wasilla the firework shows are usually around 11 p.m. to 12 a.m.
